Frequently Asked Questions
Have Questions? We have the answers.
1. What types of stainless steel materials do you offer?
We supply various grades for different applications:
- 304 – Most common stainless steel, good corrosion resistance, food-grade safe, used in construction and machinery
- 316/316L – High corrosion resistance, suitable for marine, chemical, and medical industries
- 430 – Nickel-free, used in kitchen appliances and decorative panels
- Special Alloys – Duplex stainless steel, 904L, etc., available on request
3. What is the difference between welded and seamless stainless steel pipes?
- Seamless Pipes – No welding seams, made by piercing steel billets, used in high-pressure, chemical, and marine applications
- Welded Pipes – Made from rolled and welded sheets, more cost-effective, used for fluid transport, structural, and decorative applications
For high-pressure or corrosive environments, seamless pipes are recommended; for general industrial and decorative uses, welded pipes are a good choice.
5. How corrosion-resistant are your stainless steel products?
Corrosion resistance varies by grade and surface treatment:
- 304 Stainless Steel: Good for kitchens, buildings, and machinery
- 316L Stainless Steel: Contains molybdenum (Mo), providing superior resistance to acid, alkali, and seawater
- 201 Stainless Steel: Lower nickel, less corrosion-resistant, not ideal for humid environments
- Surface finishes like mirror-polishing, brushing, and PVD coating further enhance corrosion resistance
2. What are the standard sizes of stainless steel sheets and coils?
- Stainless Steel Sheets
- Thickness: 0.3mm – 100mm
- Width: 1000mm – 2000mm
- Length: 2000mm – 6000mm or customized
- Stainless Steel Coils
- Thickness: 0.3mm – 6mm
- Width: 600mm – 2000mm
- Coil weight: 1-5 tons
Custom thickness, width, and precision cutting available.
4. What types of surface finishes are available for stainless steel?
- 2B – Smooth, industrial standard
- BA (Bright Annealed) – Reflective, used in food-grade and medical applications
- Brushed (Hairline Finish) – Common in decoration, construction, and elevators
- Mirror 8K – Highly reflective, ideal for luxury interiors
- Sandblasted – Matte finish, used in industrial settings
- PVD Coating – Available in gold, black, rose gold, etc., for furniture and décor
Custom surface finishes available upon request.
6. Can your stainless steel products be customized?
Yes, we provide custom processing, including:
- Cutting – Laser, plasma, water jet
- Bending – CNC precision bending
- Welding – TIG, laser welding
- Surface Treatment – Mirror polishing, brushing, sandblasting, PVD coating
We process based on customer specifications, dimensions, and drawings.
