2205 duplex stainless steel plate and coil are high-performance materials that combine the excellent corrosion resistance of austenitic stainless steels with the high strength of ferritic grades. With a balanced microstructure of approximately 50% ferrite and 50% austenite, 2205 offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Supplied in both plate and coil form, it is ideal for use in marine environments, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and offshore oil and gas industries.
